The 16
Health maintenance exercises were developed by Wang Ji Wu, who was a doctor of
Chinese medicine and a martial arts practitioner, he himself practiced these movements
till he passed away at a healthy 100 years of age, and the vast majority of his
first lineage students lived a quality life into their 80’s and 90’s. Wang Ji
Wu’s medical skills were highly respected by the government, and his martial
arts skills were perhaps the greatest of anyone, ever.
